Daniel Holguin


Born in Mexico. He earned a Degree in Ar¬chitecture from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and worked as an archi¬tect at his design/build studio in Mexico City. He moved to New York City in 2000 where he received a MS in Advanced Archi¬tectural Design from Columbia University in 2001 and worked for Bernard Tschumi Archi¬tects, TEN arquitectos by Enrique Norten, and the Rockwellgroup. Daniel currently lives and works as an architect in New York City where he is actually working at his studio called *multiplicities at the Bowery. The range of work going from residential, hospitality and designs for a TV program, to a new design research group.

*multiplicities work was recently featured at Art Basel 40 in Switzerland, the Urban Center in New York and is preparing two up¬coming exhibitions at Shanghai and Beijing in China. It has been published in Japan Architect, Architectural Digest, Arquine, Blink, Achitecture A Vivre, Columbia Press, New York Times, among others.

*multiplicities was recently chosen by Pritzker laureates Herzog & de Meuron to participate in the Ordos 100 project curated by Ai Wei Wei and currently under construc¬tion.
