Marko Hytonen joined Rezidor in 1991 and has since held several management roles and General Manager positions in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

After working as District General Manager in South Africa, he later moved to Russia where he was responsible for Rezidor operations in Russia, Baltic’s, CIS and Turkey. In 2006, he joined the Corporate Office in Brussels as Vice President of Future Openings and Corporate F&B for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

In his current role, Marko Hytonen is responsible for the management and development of all of Rezidor’s revenue streams throughout the Middle East region, future hotel openings, and quality and performance of all of the hotels across the company’s current and new-to-market brands; including; Radisson Blu, Park Inn, Hotel Missoni and Regent.
